Turn NCMEC CyberTipline exports into formatted reports, on your own machine
GEN Scribe is a desktop tool that turns CyberTipline XML or PDF exports into formatted reports. Point it at a folder of CyberTips, pick a template, and it generates one report populated from all of them. Everything runs locally. No AI, and no data leaves the device.
Free for law enforcement.
Defensible documentation from the first report

A CyberTipline report arrives as a dense export that an investigator re-types into the agency's own format before any work begins. That is hours per report, and every re-typing is a chance for a detail to be lost or altered before it reaches a court.
GEN Scribe reads the exports and writes the report. Templates are edited in a built-in rich-text editor with placeholders for the NCMEC data fields, so the output follows your agency's structure every time and a prosecutor sees the same document from every investigator.
Where GEN Scribe sits in a case
- CyberTipline exports are received and placed in a folder
- GEN Scribe fills the agency's template from the selected CyberTips
- The report goes to the investigator, and later to the prosecutor, in one consistent form
